CUSTOM PICTURE FRAMING, IT'S OUR FAMILY'S BUSINESS!

Nielsen Gallery has been the preferred destination for custom framing and artwork in Mid-Michigan for over 48 years and counting!

Owner Christine Nielsen grew up in the family business when her father and mother opened the gallery in 1970. Christine worked the counter after school and on weekends. Her parents quickly recognized her passion for art and custom framing.

Over the next decade, Christine traveled across the country discovering new artists to showcase at the gallery as well as attending classes to perfect her craft as a master framer.

After years of hard work, she eventually earned the confidence of her parents as well as their customers. She fondly recalls her Mother's joy when clients stopped asking, "Is your mother here?". As the years past, Christine continued earning the trust of new and old customers.

Christine explains, “As a professional framing expert, I will take the time with you to get to know the history and vision of your piece. I consider your style along with the colors, textures, and visual energy. All of these elements will guide us to bring out the most your piece has to offer. Our mission is to offer you the best selection, quality, and personal service that will create lasting keepsakes for you and generations to come.”
